Shiemi just kind of. Stares. Wide-eyed for a second because holy cow that is a really big, intimidating snake

And... cue the freak out. ]

Wh-why do you have that?! [ Quickly, reason kicks in and Shiemi remembers that some snakes have very deadly venom in them. She's not snake-smart by any means, but the possibility that he could be, y'know. Dying kinda freaks her out.

Scurrying to his side now!! ]

We have to get this... this thing off!

I found it.

[ Sort of. They kind of mutually found each other while Amaimon was checking out random places with that handy dandy key of his. Fortunately this is a constrictor snake, although it seems confused because it started eating Amaimon before it finished crushing him to death. It must not be used to trying to eat a prince of Hell, poor thing.

At any rate, there's no poison to worry about. Just the hundred or so razor sharp teeth in its mouth, but hey Amaimon's definitely had worse. ]

W-well I don't actually know how snakes show affection so--

[ Shaking her head! That is definitely not important right now, even though he asked a question. Getting the snake off him is way more important! It's biting into him! Oh gross blood? ]

Nii-chan! I need your help!

[ And out pops her familiar demon! ... but first she has to get to snake off. ]

Um... [ pointing a finger at it??? ] Release!

[ The snake just stares her down, looking distinctly unimpressed at her attempts. Or maybe its sizing her up for a next meal. In the meantime, it creeps another few inches up Amaimon's arm.

Amaimon, meanwhile, just continues to watch Shiemi curiously, blinking owlishly at her familiar's sudden appearance. ]

...oh, is that a greenman? I didn't know you were related to a demon.

I wonder if that means we shouldn't get married? No, it should still be fine. Maybe I should ask Brother.
